Does anybody have any experience in setting up a Calcomp DrawingBoard II to
work with 3DS? I'm not having much luck in setting it up or reaching tech
support. ( Not to mention the cordless pen arrived with dead batteries
..grrr) I'm strongly considering returning it for a Wacom.
Ian.
Ian,
My experience is….give it up, at least I couldn't get it to work. If I
could return mine and get a Wacom I would. (They're alot cheaper now than when
I bought m calcomp). I can even get the thing to run in pressure sensitive mode
for Fractal Painter (if you've figured that out, help would be appreciated) But
anyway a mouse is much better, I did get the pad to work with Playmation, a
Windows 3d program, but it's just not as fast or accurate as a mouse, for me
anyway. luck. Tim
Ian-
What's the problem? I've been using a Calcomp for over a year with
no problems. Give me a quick run down on what you have done to this
point and a little on you auto. and config. files.
