Demo Tape

Recieved your demo tape the other day and wanted to thank-you, you've got some
good work on there. I've finally got a system together so that I can start
doing everything on my own. I've been freelancing and had to rely on other
systems for transfer to tape or disk. Are you using Beta or Laser Disk. I've
been using Laser Disk as it is fast but I prefer Beta SP. -J
Hi there John,
Pardon my jumping in, but, I'd like to know how I can get a copy of that demo
tape, if possible?
Thank you very much.
Alex.
Hi Alex, I'm not sure what I've gotten myself into here, but here's the
scoop… I've been talking with Ben about his WinImage Morph Program, and we've
had several discussions, and I mentioned that I'd done a F18 to F117 moving
morph. He was interested and so I said I'd send him a copy. It is my first
moving morph with the program, and it was pretty easy and fun. Bascially an F18
flying over a cloud sky that turns into a F117. I would'nt exactly call it a
demo tape or a masterpiece however. If your still interested I'll see what I
can do. I've got several projects in the fire.. (on Fire?), but hope to be able
to get Ben his copy by the end of the week. If you're into morphing its a great
program, the technical support is excellent, and they offer free upgrades. –

Hi John,
I am defenetly interested in getting a copy of the "demo" tape if it's Ok with
you. I am trying to learn as much as I can about morphing.
Let me know about the tape OK?
Thank you..
Alex.
Alex, just so you know, this is a 2D morphing package which means that is works
with images as opposed to models. Dodge had a great commercial within the last
6 months or so, which morphed a car into its Caravan. The nice thing about 2D
morphing is that you can morph objects which are disimilar. Without having to
worry about the number of vertices being equal as with models. There are ways
around that too.. but I find that the WinImage morph is a fast convienent tool
with professional results. You can morph photorealistic images with stunning
results as well as create moving morphs with rendered images created in 3D
Studio. You should really talk with Ben over at WinImage, his CIS # is
76004,1771, he's very helpful as well as knowledgeable. But I'll see what I can
do about get you a tape. – John
