QBTools 2.0.1 Patch
5 messages in this thread
James,
I successfully installed the 2.0.1 QBTools patch. I updated the
programs on my backup floppy and on my hard drive. Should I also update
the programs on the ORIGINAL disk?
Thanks.

Dom,
Typically I feel that it is better never to write on the original disk and to
limit changes to the backup copy.

Randy,
Thanks. Does that mean that future patches will be able to be applied
to the latest update? Some companies release patches that can only be
applied to the original version of the program.

Dominick,
Whether you want to update the programs on your original disks is up to you.
However, should we upload any future patches, they will need to be applied to
the most recent version. (In other words, if we upload a version 2.0.2 patch,
it will need to be applied to version 2.0.1, not version 2.0.)

James,
Great. Thanks for the info. I had asked Randy that very question about
how future patches would be applied.
