From Laurie Marshall: We have a problem that we can not solve. We used to be able to record from any frame number to any other frame number in a sequence of image files. We moved our office a month ago and now when I tell 3ds to record from one frame to another, here's what it does: I have a rendered sequence of files from 90-310. I tell it to record starting at 90 thru 310. Instead of starting at 90, the machine starts counting at 90, counts 90 frames, and starts recording at 180, records thru 310 then goes back to 90 and records 90-179 as the last thing on the tape. I was hoping this problem would disappear as mysteriously as it appeared, but of course it hasn't. Can anyone shed some light on this problem and how to solve it?

Laurie: Be sure your file naming protocol is correct: FOUR letters (only letters) followed by FOUR numbers (only numbers). example: ABCD0025.TGA If you use less than four numerical digits the results are totally unpredictable. If you follow this naming protocol a series of files starting with ABCD0000.tga through ABCD0360.tga can be started at any frame by naming that frame in filename box. Let us know how it's going.
