I have just added my 486/50 w/ 32 Mbytes RAM to my network and am having
problems with the dreaded "QEMM error #13" as I exit 3DS.
If I REM my IPX and NETX out of my Autoexec all is fine again……Excepting
all of the memory addresses of the NIC and IPX do not solve the problem. It
all seems to conflict with extended (expanded) memory addresses.
Do I need to go and get a "real" network software like LANtastic or what???
I read about all of the HAPPY Lantastic people on the "Networked Pentiums"
thread.
In advance, thanks,
Patrick (You guessed it, I am NOT a Novell CNE)
This could be a conflict in upper memory. Is the network card excluded
(particularly it's RAM space). If you're using a memory manager like QEMM make
sure no loadhi's use it's address space for initializing. Try IPX /i to make
sure IPX is using the configuration you think it is.
Good Luck,
