owen — do you still have the problems when the drivers are not loaded high?
I'm sure you have checked — but the problems you describe sound like memory
conflicts — certainly your Mitsumi should NOT be working that way, and your
problem is not a common one.

Thanks for the reply and the problems I have are there regardless of where the
drivers are….to be perfectly honest, I havent tried conventional memory in
quite a while but i'll drop it down and see what happens…I originally tried
it the drivers in conventional memory several months ago and the avi files were
"jumpy" but I'll give it another shot! I'm pleased to know that its not the
Mitsumi drive and your confidence gives me some motivation to try something
else! Thanks
