Yes, exactly..and there is always the warranty aspect..there are moves in the
Soundblaster camp now to make a range of products compatible with the Mitsumi
as it is a very popular drive.. Certainly in the UK, over 80% of our members
are Mitsumi owners.. I wonder if its the same in the USA..

I don't usually put on my sales hat when I'm browsing Compuserve
but their is an OEM version of SB Pro which supports the Mitsumi directly,
We have it in stock and we sell it for 239 pounds ex VAT complete with the
mitsumi drive
It's not the full SB Pro Deluxe package but it does have all of the normal
software that you get with the SB Pro plus all of the cables including the
audio for direct attch between the Mitsumi CD and the SB Pro.
