I'm currently evaluating two plotters/printers the Encad Novajet vs. the HP
650C. In all of the test plots and prints the Novajet has exhibited far
superior color quality and density. The HP has just about everything else
going for it: speed, crispness of linework, ease of use. Since I will be using
the machine I choose for both CADD color output and for 3DS computer imaging
and photographic type output I am interested to find out if there are certain
techniques, add-on software, tricks or information which someone could offer or
suggest which would give me optimal output from the HP. Like I said, right now
the output is far superior coming out of the Novajet. On the other hand, are
there any tweaks which I can use to speed the output of the Novajet or slim the
pen definitions for thinner, crisper linework?
