SCSIUtil v2.02 is a little utility to do some low level stuff with
SCSI devices. It is far from being perfect but it is useful. It has
the following features: read the capacity of a SCSI device; read 16 bit
raw digital audio off an audio CD (works with Sony CDU 561 & 8003 &
Toshiba 3401); read 16 bit raw digital audio off an audio CD and convert
to 8 bit; eject/insert a medium via software control; display the
Inquiry data of a SCSI device; read & interpret a CD-ROM data block
address header; more.

Steve, I have an old drive on my scsi bus using a (at type) to scsi
adaptor (an Omti). The drive has been unreliable, possibly not set up
correctly. Will this utility be of any use in working with it? Note that
if the drive is connected to my bus (external), I easily crash. I also
don't know if the Omti is properly terminated.

Who knows? Figure out what your hardware problems are first.
