Rafael,
Your responce you were getting "where is the modem" refer to page 30 in
the manual. Make sure you have turned on the modem Before starting up the
programme. Also note what they say in the third paragraph, have you done
this in frustration once ?? If you are using another serial board/s make
sure that you have them setup correctly with their controlling software.
There is some reason for it not finding the modem/serial port…(before it
even starts to "Initialize" the modem) -no other comms progs running at
the same time????

I ALWAYS, repeat, ALWAYS turn the modem on before the computer. Just to
avoid blowing up CIAs.
I'm using Supra cable for Amiga. Guaranteed.
No other serial boards/devices, just standard Amiga serial stuff.
No other comms programs running at the same time.
