HP DJ printer driver

I just LOVE our new HP DeskJet 520, which works beautifully on our Amiga 3000 using the Workbench printer driver "HP_DeskJet." However, it only goes up to 300 x 300 dpi, and the printer documentation says it is capable of 600 x 300 dpi. Is there a newer driver which will go up this high?

There is no 600*300 dpi driver and there won't be one as the DJ520/560 doesn't have a 600dpi command. The 600*300 are mainly generated by the RET. So you won't see a 600*300 driver! PS: My distributors and I tell this story to users daily. Nobody seem to believe us and keeps on searching (even asking their money back). All I can say is: flame the HP marketing guys! I did! If this hustle goes on, I might think about simulating 600*300 dpi in the driver. Print time will decrease 4 times and quality won't get one dot better. But users are quit! — Wolf Faust, Am Dorfgarten 10, 60435 Frankfurt, Germany —

Thanks for the information. By the way, what is the RET? I must admit I'm a little disappointed, but anyway I _am_ pleased with how great my output looks now!
