I want to, again, spread the good news about a wonderful new feature that is available for Autodesk Animator and Animator Pro users! For me, this has been the "must have" feature that I have been dying for ever since Animator was released in 1989. Sure, Animator works wonders with moving images. In the sound department, though, it has been woefully inadequate. The Animator Player utility for windows is a handy gadget with lots of features, yet it still lacks A FUNDAMENTAL AND BASIC FEATURE that 2-D animators desperately need, particularly if we plan to port our animation to other machines, where playback speed may vary significantly from the original machine it was created on, allowing the sound to run horribly "out of synch". The feature is one that allows you to FRAME-TRIGGER sounds in an animation. This is incredibly important and also allows very simple conversion to videotape, when the goal is to have a sound cartoon. The product is called "The Movie Machine" and is available on the utilities forum on Autodesk Software Support on CI$ as the file "movie.zip". The version that you download does everything except save files. The registered version is a mere $15 and is available from: Eric Shlaepfer 529 La Crosse Court South Rohnert Park, CA 94928. Delivery of my version was prompt and the software does even more than it promised. The documentation is superb. In short, this is an amazing bargain! I have no financial interest in this product. I am simply overjoyed that someone finally created the product that I've been dying for at a price that is utterly amazing. I urge everyone to get their copy. I strongly believe that Autodesk should acquire the rights to this product and incorporate it into future upgrades of Animator. (I hope Eric doesn't mind me posting this rave review.) Thanks. Steve, Thanks for your wonderful recommendation! I'm sure Eric will be delighted when he reads your message (he's currently on vacation but I'm forwarding your message to him). Thanks again and best wishes, Dieter (for Eric)
