Are there other companies making a product similar to Digital Processing Systems 'Personal Animation Recorder' ?

Matrox will have the MAX. It is similar to the PAR but uses SCSI drives and requires and EISA bus. Also, the MAX requires the Illiminator Pro frame buffer to work as it is intended more for Video/DVE use. I beleive _3D Artist_ will be reviewing the MAX in an upcoming issue. The PAR was just reviewed in Issue #14 p.7 by Alan Iglesias. — James — MAP —

Thanks for the info James. Now… Where can I get a sub to _3D Artist? I don't think I've seen that mag at the local Bookstar

Steven, << where's 3DA? >> It's coordinates can be found by downloading 3d-mag.txt in the Index & Info section of the lib.

Thanks Jonas, I've only been in the forum for a few days now, and all I can say is that people in here seem really helpful. I'm very glad that I came online. Steve
