Jim: Is Apple working on any hardware and/or software updates (to be distributed to users) that will help alleviate the incompatibilities that video digitizer card manufacturers are having with the Power Macs, or will the fixes come solely from those manufacturers? Thanks, Jim Frazier/VizBiz Multimedia Software There are 2 Replies. Read action !

So far as I know the fixes for the various cards have been coming from the card manufacturers. In many cases our engineers have been working directly with theirs, but the upgraded ROM or software comes from the card mfg. Read action !

Jim, >>Is Apple working on any hardware and/or software updates (to be distributed to users) that will help alleviate the incompatibilities that video digitizer card manufacturers are having with the Power Macs, or will the fixes come solely from those manufacturers?>> As far as I know, those fixes are coming solely from the manufacturers of the cards. Rumors are flying, for example, that Radius VV Telecast will ship simultaneously ready for both the Mac and PowerMac late this summer. And all of *that* work is being done by Radius. 🙂 Sincerely, Duane Burghard Mardun Software Read action !
