How's SEA? How's MOM?
Gotta a question. I am trying to use FLOCK to drag about 50-75 musical notes
across the screen. The idea is for them to start at a certain location and then
sorta follow a path around behind a leader note. I saw something like this in
Wavefront stuff. They hooked on the leader object and everything just followed
along. Real cool.
Do you know what the settings would be to get this same affect? Does Jim or Don
have any ideas? Or is it not possible? I am trying to start at a certain
location and have them fly around and then end up disappearing through a small
hole. The random nature is not real suitable. I am trying to avoid creating
"instants" and following a path.

PMJI, but although Flock is not really designed to do this, you might be able
to get something useable by experimenting with the ROOST SPEED parameter. You
won't have any precise control though.
