I have an A3000 and a SCSI-based 486 that I need to share data between; what
I'd like to know is whether there is such a thing as a piece of Amiga software
that will let me read and write to MS-DOS formatted 88Meg Syquest carts. If
not, would it be worthwhile for me to pick up one of those $20 XT bridgeboards
(i.e., will that allow me to access MS-DOS formatted Syquests)?
Any help would be appreciated.

If CrossDos is set up correctly on your Amiga you should have no problem
reading or writing a PC formatted Syquest. CrossDos came as part of
AmigaDos 2.1 or so. The Syquests will need to be formatted on your PC,
Ounce you get things set up correctly its all quite transparent.

Thanks, I do have CrossDOS, but the docs I have for it came with the standalone
version I got before I upgraded my operating software, and they don't say
anything about hard drives (removable or otherwise). I'll give it a try
anyway, and ask more questions if I can't get it to work!
