Peter, I got a CDTV keyboard some time ago from Grapevine. I don't know if they can still get them. It's the same as the 3000 keyboard but it's spray painted black by an infant and has a different cable. I gutted it and exchanged innards with my 3000 keyboard so I would have the newer keyboard on my main machine. At any rate, I've got an adaptor cable that allows plugging a 3000 or 2000 keyboard into the CDTV. Cost me $36 and I only used it a few times before getting my CDTV keyboard. If you're interested, you can have it for $25 delivered. In my opinion, there are many other things than the lack of a keyboard that make CDTV useless. 1.3 Roms comes to mind. Lack of speed, ram expansion, mouse, flicker free display and hard drive also figure prominently. I realize most of that can be rectified (not sure about the ROM) but what an expense. On the plus side, it's a heck of a CD player and it has all those cool ports…serial, parallel, and midi. It also functions fairly well paralinked to the 3000. -Richard

All my girlfriend would be using it for is to Word Process and some record keeping. I can put 2.04 in too fairly easily. If I can't find a CDTV Keyboard I'll probably take yer Cable. Thanx.
