I'm considering one of those too. I plan to max it with 128mb ram and render
huge 40 to 50mb texture files. Let me know if you get the machine before I do.
Also, do you or anyone listening in, have any experience with 3DS and 50mb+
texture files? What are the pitfalls? Can you load a 50mb file into ram if you
have the memory for it?

Dell seems to have good price but they charge tax even for out of
state purchase. The end result seems similar now. I have not decided
which one to buy yet. Micron technical support was not as good as I
thought when I was asking them about options for VGA cards.
