Ah, now I get it. Sorry I missed the significance of "DOS shell". You are right
of course.
Obviously I am still missing something here, but as you have the ability to
read in a file of commands of your chosing (which could be created by a batch
process) couldn't you then kick off the actual FTP under Windows using one of
the ways I mentioned, Batch Runner etc.
