I tried someone else's suggestion of using the floppy disk transfer via PC disk
method and it work great.
However, I am still seriously considering you method and will use your
suggestions as shopping and installation guidelines.

I'll admit that sneakernet is the simplest system to move a file or 2.
Gets a little cumbersome when you have to move a few dozen megs. ;^)
