This is the standard echo you get when starting up. So it's not an
error-message. Select the StandConfig "Edit-Me"-icon to see for yourself.
I'm using a 2400/modem with 9600fax-send/receive. If AVM works fine i think
i'll go for the Dolphin-modem as it has a DSP-inside and is very update-able.
Also AVM seems to be eating a lot of memory. Try closing as much as possible,
running a 2-color workbench etc. This with a standard A1200.
Maximising available memory solved things, i'm up and running now!!!

Hans, I D/L'ed it last night with no problems but now anything I try to do
brings up a "Contact author" message from AVM so I guess thats what I'll do

???? didn't have that one yet, but then again i sended only 10 faxes or so and
tried to receive one whcih gave a hang up. Must be something with your
modemtype.
Hans, I spoke with the author Al V. and he was a big help, I've got it almost
running where as I get all the right windows up except the window to enter a
fax number. I'm going to call him again tomorrow but I want to go thru the docs
again tonight to see if I can figure it out. I'll let you know.
