hi group:
i hope you are all well.
can any one tell what happens to particle size of axp's if the box object or
the shape object is scaled in the keyframer? do particles grow and shrink
according to the scale or do they maintain their original % size relitive to
the 3d edit object size?
if they do grow and shrink, is there a way to keep the particle size constent
using axp that change scale in keyframer?
thanks

If you scale an AXPBox, the particles will scale accordingly. It's generally
recommended not to do any nonlinear scaling, so the particles don't get
squashed. There's no way to control particle aspect ratio inside of the Setup
dialogs (as you can plainly see).

thanks for the reply.
what i was wondering about is if you guys know of a work around this issue so
that i can achive a constant particle size?
if it cant be done in any way then i have to use other means!
thanks

Hello the only routine out that let you squash the partical extents and
scaling factor is Dust.axp by us released through Schreiber on the Imagine
Fractal Bouquet disk set. This routine also has a feature that as far as I kmow
no other routine has is strang attractors. Like in Chaos not on partical
contacts each other thay repel and attract.

I ALREADY OWN THIS AXP. I WILL TRY USING THAT TO CREAT THE EFFECT.

Just don't do any scaling of the AXPbox and you'll achieve constant particle
size.

the particular effect i am trying to get needs the axp box to be scaled in one
of the axis to enlarge the effects coverage of the screen.
i was told that particle cloud axp by schriber can allow partical scale
controll.
i am going to give that a shot.
thanks for the feedback
