Would seem that the limited supply of existing Amiga 4000's held by distributors and others has now gone…. We have been trying to locate a 4000/040. Some dealers say they can supply but when a firm order is in the offing…. we get "expecting them in… sometime", but cannot deliver from stock. It would seem that we shall just have to dump our Amiga 2000, which we enjoyed, and get a PC adapted to our video needs. What a pity….. Regards, Hilary.

Hilary, There are plenty of A4000/40s out there. We just received more from our distributor and they say that they have plenty in stock. If you continue to have troubles finding an A4000 email me. -John The Computer Room, Denver.

John, funny bumping into you here. What is the availability on 1200's?

Hey Wayne! 1200s are basically unavailable at this time. It looks like none of the distributors stocked up on them like they did on the A4k and now they are completely out of the distribution chain. It looks like we are going to have to wait on the liquidation proceedings to terminate before they go back into production. I have heard that as of June 9th, the courts had "authorized" the beginning of the liquidation (I think this means that they are now taking bids on various parts of C=) and I am now just hoping that friendlies get the technology. -John

Why not place an order and give them a week or two to fill it. Just because no one is risking keeping 4000s in stock doesn't mean that they aren't circulating! — Dale L. Larson, Intangible Assets Manufacturing
