#VGA/NTSC Convertion Box
5 messages in this thread
I missed the start of this thread, but I think you may be interested in a
product that we just released called the Hyperconvertor. It is a board or
stanalone box into which you plug your VGA or SVGA output and it converts
it to NTSC (and/or PAL)
It supports up to 1024 x 768 x 24bit input and runs realtime with your PC
software.
Cost: $1,495 for the board – $1,790 for the box version.
Send me e-mail if you'd like more info

What kind of sizing controls do you have? I am constantly trying to make
full-frame video tapes of various video modes and never seem to be able to
size them properly.
The screen will autosize to full screen (from 320×200 up to 1024 x 768) you
have
a switch option to overscan so that you can crop the edge of the VGA
display which can be useful from say ANIPLAYER where you get a box around
the animation (at least I do!)

Darrell:
Not sure why you get a box around edge of ANIPLAYER. I done/seen many
animations and not box. Output has been done with VGA Producer PRO,
Mediator, Genie, VideoVGA, and Vision VGA HC and don't remember seeing the
box you refer to. Anyone else??

EVERYONE has underscan/overscan option, but we still end up with hughe to
and bottom borders in 640×350 modes and wierd sizing.
