What a literate, investigative group. You guys should help with the OJ thing too! The scenes I saw had a very modern style PC chassis, that's what struck me strange. Makes better sense now, thanks. Would be a shame if Samsung pulls a Lazarus on the Amiga and then N.Korea invades!!!!

The latest rumour I heard is that the Samsung deal fell through because they only wanted the European market. I don't know if this is reliable or not but it is a shame if it is. On the other hand, Douglas MacGregor, President of C= Canada, is reported as saying that there will be a "significant announcement" next week. Andrew

>> Yes, but will they buy the Commodore 64 chipset???? Geeez, I dunno. They are hot properties these days so maybe their pockets aren't that deep.

Andrew, if it fell through for that reason, it's a sensible one. Having corporate entities inside the EU (formerly EC) would allow them to side-step many of the import restrictions placed upon Asian firms by the EU. That would be worth a nice chunk of change to Samsung. The Four Seasons of Southern California: Fire, Flood, Earthquake, and Riot.
