#LW and Retina?

Hi all, I have been considering getting a 24 bit display card for my amiga
2000, and would appreciate any and all comments. I need a card that is
compatible with the Toaster 4000 card, particularly for running Lightwave 3D
layout and modeler in flicker free mode. I have been using a FFV2 for a few
months now, but it has stopped working. No display at all, most of the time on
boot up. Sometimes it magically boots fine, but I have reverted to native
amiga "flicker" mode, 'cuz that works every time.
Has anyone here used the Retina or any other display card with LW? Obviously
the display card would also be used for the bundled paint program and with
AdPro and ImageFX… Any comments??? Help, help!
I have a Picasso II board and I like it a lot. I use it with LW all the
time.

Funny, my FFV2 worked tonight, so I am happily modeling, tonight at least.
Maybe I should just leave the machine on forever <g>.

My Amigas haven't been off for years except for when I do the occasional
h/w upgrade or cold boot :^( Ughh Wish I had the ambition to keep them
rendering constantly. Unfortunately I just learn/Play with LW etc.
