Hi,
I'm playing with video post to learn how to use it. I've set up a box in the 3D
editor and applied the Birdshow flick to it as a material. I've also set up one
of the beach targas as a background in the renderer. Using video post I'd like
to make the black areas in the flic transpatent so the beach background will
show through, removing the flick's frame outline. So far I haven't gotten it to
work, the black frame is still there. Can someone step me through the process
to get the correct result? Thanks in advance!

Andy,
Video post is covered in Tutorial #22 very well.
I created a test Video Post queue as such:
Queue Alpha

e:\3ds3\images\cloud.gif none
i:\samples\flcs\ipasfwrk.flc alpha.

Render frame 75. You should see the effect of compositing. Please *do* the
tutorial and read chapter 8-133 to 8-151.
