Just asked the same thing last week, David White from DPS answered me: Shipping will probably start September-October. We will still have to wait a little bit for real time magic? Christophe

Matrox' MAX should be released in a few weeks at the latest, and with a PAL Illuminator Pro (great framebuffer, BTW), you've got PAL real-time. John Tissavary (LUNA cie)

Of course John, however price difference also makes my day, and I'll rather wait for the PAR just because of that, certainly if I look at the field where I'll be using the PAR. Christophe Van Oyen

I don't know about the PAR, but MAX is due out in a couple of weeks (last software bugs are being ironed out), and with a PAL Illuminator Pro, you've got PAL real-time playback, with future SCSI level 2 RAID and other awesome stuff. John Tissavary (LUNA cie)
