AA Pro and Win 4.0

Just a note to say that I love this program. I have gotten to the point where
I'm creating some nice, complicated animations and I finally realize the power
of this program. Anything I can envision, it can do. It's taken a few months to
really get comfortable with it, and I'm no expert by any means, but my
animations are looking really good these days.
I'm working on a project that has full screen animations and I'm using AA Pro
for them. When the boss saw what they looked like, she approved the purchase of
one copy for the office. Do me a favor, Autodesk: do not, I repeat, DO NOT
abandon this program. I realize it hasn't been updated in a very long time and
that has me concerned. Is AA working on a Win 4.0 version, and if so, will the
upgrade be affordable for those of us that don't have deep pockets? I just sent
in the Poco Pack offer and can't wait to get it.

Company line… Autodesk does not discuss future products, prices, features or
shipdates.

Jump into the Animator message and library section. There's a growing group of
POCO programmers there and the've uploaded a number of POCO routines.

I think it's pretty safe to say that Autodesk IS going to be putting out some
sort of AniPro update one of these days (based on their hiring of Jim Kent away
from The Yost Group, and from a survey call I got from Autodesk one day about
my feelings about online documentation for AniPro, and from Autodesk's interest
in Mr. Kellerman [at least at one time — how did that work out, Mr. K?]). But
I doubt that you'll hear any more than that until they announce a release date.
