Hep me, hep me, I'm drownin!
I'm trying to make a composition of two flics and have run into a trying
situation. The area which I want to become transparent (key color) is actually
not one color. It is a range of colors between (253,253,253) and
(255,255,255).
I'm importing 24bit pictures where the background is white.
Is it possible to set the key color as a range??? I've got AAPro V1.0.

P.S. I will upgrade to AAPro V2.0 before the end of the year. That's the new
version that will do 24Bit stuff, morphing and warping, sound, natural painting
brush stroke effects, run in Chicago, be optimized for a Pentium, …. It's
gonna be great!
One way to do that is to adjust the whole range of colors you want to be the
same to the value 255,255,255 then use the command SQUEEZE from the VALUE menu
and click OK. After that copy that color to the key color slot and run the
SQUEEZE command with out changing anything one more time. If you have a lot of
frames to do you could make a macro.

Thanks, I'll give it a bash!! May take me some reading time though. It's
about time a tried a macro 8^).
However, I figured out a messy way to do it. I overlay it three times. First
onto a (253,253,253) background and then that flc onto a (255,255,255)
background. Finally I overlay the last flc onto the real background. … It
works, I've just tried it. Not too elegant though. (I have six flc's, each
about 30 frames long.)
