I recently purchased 2 zeo p-100's with the diamond stealth v-ram boards. On both machines I have the same problem. When I use any tool in AAPro, random spots (one pixel size) appear on my screen. when I try to brush over the spots, even more spots appear. I have reloaded AApro with no sucess. I have changed screen size, video modes through the diamond utilities and still spots! One concern is that it might be a virus but I haven't detected any. (we've been hit by some stealth virus recently) Is this a known problem or am I on my own? Thanks in advance. Rich Coburn c/o D. Dooley

<< When I use any tool in AAPro, random spots (one pixel size) appear on my screen. when I try to brush over the spots, even more spots appear.>> Are the spots part of the picture? Or just on the display? In other words…Move the mouse and see the spots, then save the files. When you reload the file, are the spots still there? In exactly the same place? Or are the spots just garbage produced by the video driver, and not actually part of the file? << video modes through the diamond utilities and still spots! >> I know there are people using the Diamon Stealth with success. Are you using the latest versions of the VESA drivers and diamond utilities? You might post a general question in the Animator section asking if anyone is using AAPRo with the exact Stealth card you are using. <<Is this a known problem or am I on my own?>> We have seen screen artifacts before, and invariable it was the result of a bad or wrong video driver. We have had no reports of this happening because of the Animator Pro software. -brian

Thanks for the reply brian, the spots became part of the flics. In any case, I found the problem. I had Central Point anti virus "Vsafe" TSR loaded. After removing it, the problem went away. Problem solved! thanks rich c
