Any Par Users out there. I've been trying to get AAS to write to the PAR drive and havePAR drive and this is a no-no. The PAR drive works with sequencial compressed targa files and targa files only. Not only can it not write anything but targas, it can only write them in sequence, and cannot allow files to be deleted in the middle of the sequence. (long story short: Can't write temp files to the drive.) Is there any way to get the temp files to be written somewhere else. I looked in the manual and the ini file but didn't see any leads. s more space than I'd like to give up. Thanks. Tim Wheeler MasterPeace Multimedia

I have a set temp specification. No dice. AAS is going by default. I think I have seen someone online who is using the PAR successfully, but can't remember who.

Hmm…interesting. Well, I remember hearing about a Window's driver for the PAR. If it's around, that might be your solution. Seemed to me that it allowed you to read .ANI files from the PAould translate them into several formats(.TGA, TIF, .JPG, etc.) as well as write these types and it would convert them back to a .ANI. If you find anything, let me know. This is an issue for us, so I'll be checking on my end, too. Jh
