Hi, Peter Well, from what I am seeing/reading VR on PC's is quite doable. I am just getting started with the CDK myself. I am running the demos on a 486/66 with 16M of RAM and an ATI Mach32 board. I can get reasonable motion with the simple demos. I am planning on upgrading to a faster system for smoother motion, etc. For a presentation, you might not need smooth motion, I expect people will want to move into a room and look for a while, then move on. (Not that smooth motion would hurt.) I am investigating low cost video boards to provide texture mapping, and low cost HMDs as well. I will let you know what I come up with. Bret

Hi Peter, I purchased Autodesk's 3D Studio Release 4 and the Cyberspace Development Kit about two(2) months ago for this very purpose. Since then I have created a walkthrough of an office suite using both packages. My plans are to take this one step further and attach sensing devices so my client can interact within the application. My current system is a Pentium 90 with a Diamond Stealth Pro and 16Meg of memory. The performance is good but could be better! Since applications developed using CDK must be in WindowsNT, this operating system supports dual processors, so this is my next endeavor. I also have Super Scape VRT3.52 virtural reality software which is an integrated development environment package for this very purpose of creating walkthroughs that doesn't require any programming knowledge. …Terry 76251,772
