Ernie, In answer to your comment about mass market. I think you're going to see a lot of programs coming down the pike that require more memory and more disk space. The days of 4 Megs on a system are over! Even Win 95 needs 8 megs if you want to run any apps! Who has pentiums these days? Nine year olds. According to Intel half of all the pentiums shipped last year ended up in homes. More to come, –marK

The days of 4 Megs on a system are over! Even Win 95 needs 8 megs if you want to run any apps! << Don't get me wrong. I'm a slave to the RAM gods. My p90 has 64 MBs, my 486-100 has 24 and my two BBS machines each have 8. But what I hear AS people saying is that to run AS "well" you probably need 32 min and more like 64 and probably more. It will still be several years before "Joe Blow" machines have 32 MBs off the shelf. Anyways… The only point I was trying to make was that AS _is_ a higher end product so it had "better" run on the higher end platform (read: W95, or WIN32S min). But, that said, this will soon be a mute point because it appears that ADESK has heard us and is rapidly getting with the program. We are grateful of that too and it isn't going unnoticed.
