Ive been working with meshpaint with meshs that are lofted with
mapping coordinates. This works well and is a soloution in many
cases, although there are still some interesting abberations at the
ends of the mesh in the cap area such as paint bleeding through to
the other cap.
I still think that the ability to paint on a mesh with different
sets of mapping coordinates (visible at the same time so the paint
that crosses mapping boundries can be lined up) is needed. Thanks ED
Ed,
Yes, the caps of a lofted object can be problematic. However,
assigning a new material to those faces can relieve the problem. We
are working on new ways to get around some of the UV mapping
limitations.
