#Finding a consultant
3 messages in this thread
I was reading in "Business Startups" magazine that one startup
strategy for a successful multimedia business is to develop strategic
partnerships with consultants that can use your talents to boost
their business. Okay, fine. Now, how does one go about finding such
partnerships? Would one just look in the yellow pages under
consultants? Any suggestions would be great!

Do I recall that you are in OroGone (and near Portland)? There is a
Consultants group that meets monthly (last Tuesday of month). I don't
know how many of these do or need multimedia in their work. I
suspect that every major city would have some kind of consultants
group.
The International Interactive Communications Society (IICS) is
another way to go. They can be found here on Compuserve. If you are
in Portland, you can call them at (503) 452-6785. Locally at least, I
suspect that this would be the better prospect for multimedia
relationships and work. Just my opinion, since I am not a member.
Good luck.

Thanks Albert, this is helpful. BTW, I did lookup consultants in the
yellow pages, and there are a bunch.
