Sometimes when I have lit my model and have a light that I'd like to tweek, I
have a problem with locating the exact light. In the TV studio the Lighting
Director will flash the circuit she thinks is the closest to the area she wants
to correct. is there any way to do this in 3d studio? thanks in advance for
any and all help. Ann

Title: The Meier Utilities v1.0
Keys: FREE PXP MEIER LIGHT FILTER GROUP
The Meier Utilities is a free IPAS PXP Plug-In designed to simplify access to
some of the most common 3D Studio
commands and provide tools to work with multiple lights, cameras and meshes.
For manipulating multiple items
the program supports the saving and recall of groups of items by name. The
program was written by Mark Meier
of Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Ditto to Jonas' post regarding the Meier Utilities. When they are running, a
little floating text box will appear next to the cursor, and will display the
name of the light, camera or object to which it is closest. This is an amazing
set of utilities, and Mark is graciously releasing it as freeware.
