Sometimes when I have lit my model and have a light that I'd like to tweek, I have a problem with locating the exact light. In the TV studio the Lighting Director will flash the circuit she thinks is the closest to the area she wants to correct. is there any way to do this in 3d studio? thanks in advance for any and all help. Ann

Ditto to Jonas' post regarding the Meier Utilities. When they are running, a little floating text box will appear next to the cursor, and will display the name of the light, camera or object to which it is closest. This is an amazing set of utilities, and Mark is graciously releasing it as freeware. Dave
