Within 3DS, you could load the GIF as a background image
(Render/Setup/Background/Bitmap in 3DEditor, then View/See Background in
2DShaper) and trace over it.
Some forum members have used a feature in Corel called Trace then save it as a
DXF file to load into the shaper. I have no experience with that, so maybe
someone can fill in the detail.
Good luck

Chris,
I have seen a utility up here for quite a while called gifdxf.zip. What it's
supposed to do is convert a gif to a dxf file.
Location on compuserve:
Forum: Graphics
Library: Raytrace Sources
Title : gif to dxf converter
File : GIFDXF.ZIP
Maybe this will help you out. I've never used it, just seen it. Good Luck,
Paul
