I have both the PAR and the TBIC cards.. I have done this before, but now I am stuck again. I followed the diagram on page 24 of the PAR manual, only difference is I am using the "S-Video In" slot instead of the "Video In" slot. I do not get an image on my Program Monitor from my Source VTR. I am using Version 1.3 because I cannot get 1.5 to work on my system. I have tried switching S-Video and Composite but I still just get this pink screen on the Program Monitor. Anybody have an idea on configuration? Thanks. -James Franssen

Be sure you have selected "S-Video" vs. "composite" in in the TBC IV menu of the Par.exe and also select the EE from the main screen. This will feed the vcr playback from your s-video TBC input jack to the PAR output, either composite or S-video.

I hate to do this trouble shooting one message at a time but have you checked the TBC IV as a stand alone for throughput?, the Par as a stand alone for animation output?, If both work then maybe you should check the cable linking the two together. You may not have it plugged in properly. Or the cable may be defective. The pink screen is very strange. Have you called DPS tech support? Does it work OK in composite and just not in S-Video mode? Could be defective cables, have you swapped cables? These are some of the checks I would be doing to isolate the problem BEFORE calling DPS.
