You will recall that I reported Internal Error problems recently. I am now receiving these errors so frequently, that it is not practical to do any serious work with this program. The latest Internal Error occurred under the following circumstances: I loaded a 450 frame, 4 MB flic file created in Animator Pro at 640 * 480. Tried to save it as a 256 pal AVI ……….. internal error after 30 minutes Then tried to save it as a compressed flic ……… internal error after 30 minutes Technical specs: 52MB RAM after loading Windows 140MB swap file Pentium 90 MHz Windows 3.11 Windows resolution 1024 * 768 24 bit mode Any ideas ? I have received some suggestions with regard to "cranking up" the swap file to a high a value as possible. Your manual states that beyond 32 MB RAM, the size of the swap file is not such an issue. Could I please receive the official word from Autodesk as to what the file of the swap file should be in MY PARTICULAR CASE. Thank you Cyrus

Cyrus, Put together the biggest swap file you can. ie; 4XRAM+4meg according to Microsoft. Turn off anything that takes up resources. ie; run your system clean, no tsr's, no wallpaper, no screen savers, etc. I have found this all helps. Will

Thanks but I tried for the heck of it a 1 GB swap file …. no difference !!! I have been advised to wait for the patch coming out in August to resolve these problems. Best regards Cyrus

<<I have been advised to wait for the patch coming out in August to resolve these problems.>> OK. By the way, how did you manage to assign a 1g swap? Windows allows only 4XRAM+4meg MAX. Will

I don't know why it accepted a large swap file but it did – I have 56 MB RAM Best wishes Cyrus
