1) how does one go about converting an amigados timestamp into a useable form. that is i want day-month-year when I have the number of days since 1-jan-78. is there anything already invented for this purpose, seems incredible that I'd be the first to need this. is ther anything out there? 2) I'm traversing a disk and i'm going into the subdirectories with a recursive call the directory scanning programm. goes something like this: while (ExNext(…),IOErr()!=ERROR_NO_MORE_ENRIES) IF (we have a directory) recursively call this rouitne. else do something with this file. /*end while*/ the trouble is that IOErr thinks its finished with the parent directory afer it returns from the recursive call. if i comment out the recursive call, the loop goes thru all the entries in the top directrory. however, if i put in the recursive call, IOErr thinks its done when I can plainly examine the fileinfoblock from ExNext and see the proper next file. How does IOErr work and what am I doing wrong? thanx in advance, sdp
