Don,
Thanks for the tip. Would it work to alter the s/startup-sequence in
CLI? I've done some hacking on a copy of my 1.1 Workbench that way, and can
run several programs even Amiga says don't do very well with 1.2. (Woops -make
that 1.2 I altered, not 1.1 — it's late & I've been making lots of silly
blunders today … is it Monday again?)
Anyway, I've been able to run Music Studio and Transformer just fine,
and can use my 5.25 drive for data storage.
Kathy
Kathy,
If you can manage a hack that turns off the extra memory in the
startup-sequence, but the best tip is by Don Curtis. Get Marauder and use
FixHunk on your disk copy. I plan to do the same if I can ever afford to buy
Marauder (it's cheap. I'm just poor at the moment.). I don't know what DL
FixHunk is in, but try DL9(??).
Don W.
P.S. Get Faery Tale Adventure anyway. It's spectacular!
