Thank God! I looked all over for a telephone number on the dozens of programs I have from y ou guys, and couldn't find one! (Which shows you how often I have a problem with one of your programs, up til now…not ONE problem, and I have an Amiga and now a Commodore and a Macintosh. EA programs for all three. Lords of Conquest on the 64, however. Either I have a bad disc which I don't think, or the program is VERY sloppily written. (I love it, and have found ways of playing games without running into problems very often, but… 1. The program gets hung up when it tries to do something it should know it can't! For instance I put a ship inside a land mass on an inland sea. The program captured the boat and tried to use it to go to another island. But, although it was obvious to me that boat couldn't move away from there, the program did and didn't know it. It tried to move the boat, and then said, you can't do that, to itself. (Hung up in an endless cycle of trying to do it again and again.) Other bugs are similar. I'll have a boat captured, and then recapture it. The computer will forget that it no longer has the boat. It will try to use it, or a weapon that it formerly had, and of course since I captured them… it can't. Hung up. (All of these games are at the advanced level, first difficulty. Borderland map. European. And a couple of others. Is this perhaps only a fault in my disc? Or is it sloppy programming? What do I do about it? Is there an upgrade comi ngif it's sloppy programming? Thanks for such prompt response. I won't burden you with ALL the found bugs, you may just be directing me elsewhere. I'll try the phone number tomorrow. But, I'll also look on this message board tomorrow also for a reply. Thanks! Andy Backer! (Remember, I DO like the game! I just hate for it to get hung up all the time!
