Don, I tried what you suggested to get my old 1.1 disks to display icons faster
from WB…only problem is, the copies I made don't boot now. The originals
disks t do boot, but when I try to boot the copies made with ram:copy df0: df1:
all, I get the screen requesting WB 1.2…any suggestions?

Yes, boot with WB 1.2 and put your new disk in the external drive, then
from a CLI type:
INSTALL DF1:
And the disk will now be bootable.
