The good news: I saw Laurie Anderson playing with an Amiga on a program
called "Alive from Off Center" on Maryland Public Television. The bad news:
the Amy wasn't even turned on for the five seconds it was shown; it was merely
a prop. The worst news: the "computer" prop's role was that it had just
crashed & she had lost a week's work!
While I'm glad to see Amy in the hands of creative people such as Laurie
Anderson, I do hope she can find different ways of using her Amiga. I mean,
even a PClone could have performed that role! – Mike
Mike,
I would agree that it wasn't the best presentation of an Amiga that I've
seen. I don't have any inside information, but I have a feeling if you keep
watching, they'll do some nicer things with respect to the Amiga. At least I
hope so. Tomorrow's episode is titled "Street of Crocodiles".
