#Ultima IV

Steve,
talking about overdue, what about Land of Legends? I think it was first
announced to be ready next month back in March of '87. (And yes, when I called
the expected release date is once again, "next month.")
I am anxiously waiting to see Dungeon Master on the Amiga! But aren't they,
too, going the Land Of Legends route? Announcing "next month?"
However, if it's as good as Henry says, I can hang in there. (At least til
"next month!"
There has been NOTHING that has interested me since FTA! (And I do remember
going through it with you via this forum! Ah, the good old days!)
I've been so desperate, I finally sat down and attempted to learn SSI War Games
on my 64. (I went to a 64 when nothing was coming out on the Amiga).
Gettysburg is not half bad if you're a civil war buff! (Kampfgruppe on the
Amiga is more effective graphically, and soundwise, but … I do like the idea
of trying to watch wits with Lee!)

Land of Legends was announced at just about the time Fairy Tale Adventure was
released. Which just makes the waiting all that much unbearable because I
*loved* FTA… I wish LOL was out already…
(Just watch… They're all waiting for the Christmas rush… Within 3 days of
each other in late October, we'll have Ultima IV, Land of Legends, Dungeon
Master, AR: The Dungeon, and Questron II flood the stores, and it will take us
*months* to catch up… <grin> At least I wish… <bigger grin>)

Hahaha – I haven't played anything good for awhile since DM. If Rings of
Zilfin was made for the Amiga (I dunno) you may want to try it in the meanwhile
– tis pretty good (tho not up to Ultima/DM level at all.)
