I have found that the Read option for a letter is not as easy to use as the old option. Specifically, the read reply option does not take you back to the next menu above after the reply list has been read. (unless I'm doing something wrong).

Steve, I'm a little confused on what your problems is. Are you saying that when you ask to Read Reply that after reading all the replies to the message where you issued the Read Reply that you get sent off to some unusual menu? A Read Reply should read all replies to your current message and any replies to messages in the same 'thread'. Once done, it should go to the next unread message in the message base. Example: Reading message #100, it has a reply (#105 and #107). Issuing a Read Reply at the Read Action menu (or prompt) should take you directly to message #105. IF message 105 has replies (say #110 and 111) you would next read #110 (and any replies to it if there are any) and then #111 and then go back and read #107 and any of it's replies. Finaly, when you are all done reading any reply in the chain (or thread) from #100, you'll go back to message #101. Does that make sense…and is that what is happening to you? Don

Sorry, for some reason, I couldn't get the Read Thread function (RT ONL) to work. Maybe I tried to access it from the wrong menu level. When I could not get that function to work, I used the regular read command from the Message menu. I just tried to use RT ONL today and this time it worked.
