I have a problem. I was doing an ASCII capture on CIS, when my disk got full.
Access! wouldn't let me get to the CLI to free some space. I took the disk out
to prevent the file from being deleted when I hit the 'Cancel' gadget on the
requester. Access! crashed and when I rebooted and logged out, I found the
file to 'list' as 'empty'. I'd like to salvage the file, as it is important,
but I'm not sure of the best way. Should I use a disk editor, or what? I'd
appreciate some solutions. Thanks. Chip M.

You should be able to copy it to another file name, and the full amount
of data should show up.

I'm confused by several things you said… but for future reference, if the
disk you are ASCII capturing to get's full, (I assume you got a "Disk Full"
type DOS requester?) select "Stop Capture" from the menu, then you might have
to cancel several "Disk Full" requesters but the file should (might) still
close properly and you will only lose the data that it couldn't write to disk.
Someone else might be able to better help you salvage your current file, I
suspect "disksalv" might do it or one of the disk editors.
