I'm having some problems getting Whap! to work correctly. First of all I've set all my defaults as recommended to main, notify and brief. Whap manages to log me on to CIS successfully but then after getting the main menu things go wacky. I get form CIS or Tymnet an "unrecognized pad command" message…..then the next command that Whap issues (either go defaults if my T2400 file isn't present) or "go xxxxforum" isn't recognized by CIS. It seems that some sort of pad message is being sent by Whap which isn't being accepted by Tymnet/CIS…..I don't think its a ^C as I can use this with other term programs and CIS……maybe a ^P? I'm calling from Canada through a direct Tymnet node (NOT through Datapac!) and using the @ command in my CIS phone number parameter. Anyways I'd really like to get Whap working….if I can't I can only consider it completely and utterly broken and not worth and further consideration…. oooops please excuse that…..sometimes I have bouts of multiple personalities and think I'm a Ben Blish clone ……fortunately sanity returns quickly! <grin.. ..and then moving behind steel shield and donning asbestos suit!>.
