Is DMOUSE available here? Does it have POPCLI and screen blanking or not? Is PopCliIII and Dmouse a better setup than Mach II?

Henry, It was in Toolbox in the old forum. It should be here. From what little I can tell from it, it looks to be a 'New! Improved!' MachII type thing. Yes, it has a PopCLI and a blanker in it. Doug

Yep, it's here. In the toolbox area, I would think. Make sure it is version 1.07 (the lastest). It does have screen blanker, mouse blanker, popcli feature etc… It only does a window refresh if the window is not allready active so it works fine with WHAP!. All options are selectable and adjustable. I've changed the standard popcli to XPOPcli which pops up a cli on the current screen, not just the WB screen. Works real nice. Jim, If the Sysops move the copy of DMouse that was previously in AmigaForums DL, it should be version 1.07 (since I was the one that uploaded it there). -RSL-

Henry, I just replaced PopCLI 3 with Dmouse. I think Dmouse is great! The mouse accelerator is a joy to have. Dmouse does also do screen blanking, it also does MOUSE blanking. It also has a 'sun-mouse' feature (which I don't like so I shut it off). It also has some features that simply window manipulation, click twice in any window and bring it to the front, hold down the left mouse button (with the pointer on a window or screen) and press the right mouse button and the underlying window or screen come to the front! These abilities should be included in Workbench! Once you have them you won't want to be without them. The best feature to Dmouse, is that _EVERYTHING_ is configurable, and you can turn on/off any of these features. You can even choose how many mouse clicks are neccesary to bring an underlying window to the front! That's control! If Dmouse isn't currently in the DLs (which I'd be quite surprised to learn) I'd be happy to upload it for you. Ray

I'm using DMOUSE but I found something I don't like – it won't do a POPCLI and keep the paths the same. IE, a POPCLI for me always requests for my Workbench disk. Which I -hate-. Bob Rakosky says that quote marks around the command I'm using may help (I'm trying to command DMOUSE to look at VD0:) but currently it's ignoring the command. I will try the quote suggestion later today.
